Nar'sata: Sekutu Setan (2026) is the first Malaysian horror movie I've seen and it was okay, predictable but gory. The villains were annoying so seeing them die off one by one was fun but the plot was just meh. I'd rate it a 4-5/10 for predictability

I watched Orang Ikan/Monster Island (2024) initially I watched it bec the premise of an American and Japanese soldier stuck on an island together reminded me of Kong Island but it was pretty fun to watch, we need more practical effects in movies

I was browsing through livechart to look for a new anime to watch and notice how on the left how women who write romance illustrate their female characters versus how women are illustrated versus on the right when the target audience is primarily male. Such a stark difference.

Yall I just finished watching The Last House (2026) and um, I don't know how to feel about it. Some parts were really bad, annoying, funny and downright rodonkulous. I feel if they ever remake the movie in the future, they need to fix a lot of plot holes. 4/10 movie

I just finished watching Damsel (2024) with Millie Bobbie Brown and it was fun to watch. The accents of the various characters and inconsistencies with the plot kinda threw me off but overall, it was still a nice watch.

My ESL student told me how he used to do photography but doesn't do it anymore since there is AI that can generate images for him, he sounded excited about it. Either he never loved photography or secretly hated it because I don't understand how an AI-generated pic is better.

I finally watched and finished Stranger Things S5 and I have mixed feelings about the ending but a little sad the entire series is over, I watched it from beginning to end for the past 10 years. I loved how the characters evolved throughout the show too. Farewell to this show~

I just finished Backrooms (2026), it was pretty good and creepy horror movie and that ending was a bit of a mindfuck. As someone who has played some of the Backrooms game, I really enjoyed the movie and I recommend it to horror movie fans or fans of the games.

i hate horror movie scenarios where someone tells another person to be quiet or calm down bec something/one is coming and they speak even louder or start yelling. i'd leave your ass there, let the monster, murderer or whatever demonic entity is there kill or eat you.
