An important remark was this: "George’s removal could potentially add to conflicts between Hegseth and army leadership." Randy George was nominated by Biden. He was replaced by someone who follows the military policies of Trump and Hegseth.

AI backlash is beginning to look terribly like "those in power" wanting to distract from the mess that they've caused. Just like "blame the migrant", "blame the Jews", "blame the non-Whites", "blame the Irish" we now have "blame the AI". And the AI haters will still vote in bad politicians.
I wonder if Todd Blanche being confirmed AG in the USA will be that tipping point when Americans realise that they are in an authoritarian state that's almost unstoppably marching into absolute dictatorship? Once this has been achieved, what's left to defend US democracy? Congress yapping alone?
