I also think this discourse illuminates how much people glorify anecdotal evidence. You can use anecdotes to try to justify any bias or prejudice you can think of! IT DOESN'T PROVE SHIT!!!! I don't care how many examples of something you claim see. Your confirmation bias doesn't dictate reality

the absolutism people engage in drives me nuts, "only mono is ethical" no "only poly is ethical" no, only what the adults in a given relationship or set of relationships mutually agree on, of their own free will, is ethical (said as a monogamous person married to someone who also is)
