Zach Bussey 🍁@zachbussey.tos.gg · 2w agoTwitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.
I will say, taking this project piece by piece has made it far less overwhelming when it comes to money. it's still a lot of money. but looking at it from the perspective of paying the people sort of bit by bit, especially since not everything needs to be at once, makes it feel more manageable.
I'm afraid our little man Bobo isn't doing so well. There is no good time for something like this, but it'd be hard for the timing to be worse. I know everybody is struggling with... everything. But if you can help, thanks. And if you can at least share, thanks. gofund.me/a8f3a2a23

Or the other ways we were already using it. We want it to stop replacing workers, killing the environment, and stealing from artists. Hope that clarifies.
