This morning in Biddeford, Maine, a 26-year-old man said goodbye to his wife and daughter and left for work. Moments later he was dead, shot in the head by ICE agents, the second man ICE has killed in six days. ICE is killing our neighbors. ICE cannot be reformed. Abolish ICE.
Quit my job where I've been working for 7.5 years on the 1st. Partly because they were pivoting hard to AI. Partly because of the stress. Partly because my management sucked. Partly to "withdraw consent" and stop helping a billionaire make more $. Gonna go build a house in the woods now.
Elven Lord armor is not gonna get done, so I switched gears to the Imperial Knight set instead. Still going to be tight, but I think it will get done before renfaire. This is from a while ago. Helmet, vambrace and rearbrace, pauldrons, and breastplate are pretty much done.
Helmet faceplate, trim, and visor are all sewn together and have been dyed and sealed. There is still an endless amount of painting and antiquing and airbrushing and coating to do, but that is going to have to wait until I get more pieces done so I can do them all at once. Breastplate next.
Can I craft a full suit of Prince Armory's "Elven Lord" armor before the renfaire on June 6th? Or before the renfaire on Aug 1st? While working full time, building a house, giving myself excuses to not complete it, and have a life? We'll find out.
It can't be formally announced due to the city's contractual disclosure rules, but I can tell you that to the best of my knowledge: Denver will be removing Flock Safety cameras by April 1st. Happy Valentine's Day. 💖
