DefCon numbers are null and void as a data point for #FPL in the Brentford v Frankfurt game. Frankfurt haven't shown up, have basically only attempted from range, and most of the duels have happened in their final 3rd But positionally there's some very interesting stuff here

Latest greatest #FPL draft post, still on BB1. I’m extremely tempted to do Semenyo down to Mbeumo and either Nørgaard -> Gross or Shaw -> Slab, but my team already feels incredibly template and Semenyo feels like a good place to diverge (high ownership, yes, but rarely seen in top teams I feel)

As we enter the usual start of #fpl silly (pre)season ~2 weeks pre GW1, an observation: There's a tendency at this point to reach the overthinking stage and tinker out of sound teams/choices into wackier ones. It's easy to do: lots of info from friendlies; content ramps up, etc. Be aware of it!/

Araujo is a world class CB whose confidence was shattered by making some of the most costly individual errors in Barca's modern history. I think a loan move to another top club is a perfect place for him to rebuild his spirits and hopefully return to that level, but maybe I'm wrong and he's washed🤷‍♂️

This is the team I'd love. It's £0.5m too expensive. What I could do: 1. MGW to Wirtz. But I really love MGW as a pick, and Wirtz feels like more of a wait and see. 2. Gvardiol to Muharemovic/Canvot/Ballard. But City defense is super overlooked imo 3. JP to Igor Jesus and spread the funds #FPL
