Yesterday I returned from my 2-week vacation in Portimão, in the Algarve region of Portugal 🇵🇹🏖. The city and its beaches have been my usual Summer vacation destination for 5 years now. It was nice to have some rest and reset the mind. Now it's time to return to the routine 😜

Today my fiancé took me to a place that hit me right in the nostalgia. We went to the Cais de Gaia, a place that ofers an amazing view of Porto. And Porto is my second home ❤ Studied here for 13 years and had many meaningful moments. A city that will have my heart forever ❤

Today, I visted the urban park of Penafiel 🌲🌿 My fiancé's parents were invited to the Diocesan Family Day on the occasion of their 50-year anniversary. This was an iniciative taken by the Porto Diocese, which our local parish is part of, to celebrate couples' anniversaries.

We spent a bit of today's afternoon in the beautiful city of Coimbra, in Central Portugal. 🇵🇹 It is also famous for being the "city of students", having the oldest university in the country, and one of the most renowned. Coimbra is also one of Portugal's most historic cities.

Today I visited the Mercado à Moda Antiga (Old Fashioned Market) in my home town of Oliveira de Azeméis. It is a historic recreation of the market that was held over 100 years ago in the then "Praça dos Vales" (Valleys' Square).

And here's my last memory from my research stay in Italy: Lake Molveno 🇮🇹🏞 Classified as Italy's most beautiful lake for 10 times now, Lake Molveno is an alpine lake that sits at the Brenta Dolomites. This is the view from the Pradel plateau, at 1400 m high. #furryart #lombax #furry

During this week, I had the chance to visit the Holy Week of Santa Maria da Feira, one of our neighbouring municipalities. It is a historical recreation of the events of the Passion of Christ. One of the best, if not the actual best, Holy Weeks in Portugal ✨

Today, me and my fiancé spent the day in the city of Braga. We visited AGRO, an agricultural exposition, and then headed for the city center, where we watched the beggining of the Procession of the Steps, which is one of the many events of this year's Holy Week.

Yet another one of my Erasmus memories. While visiting Lake Como, I stayed in Bergamo for 3 days, after which I returned to Trento. It's a city 40 km northeast of Milan, notable for its old walled core, known as Città Alta, which is where Platinum is depicted here :3 🇮🇹

Yesterday I attended the great Carnaval parade in Estarreja, in the Aveiro region 🇵🇹🎉🎭 One of the greatest Carnaval parades in Portugal, it offers a mix of Samba groups and good old Portuguese parody groups, each with an original song 🕺💃👯‍♀️ It's always fun to watch Carnaval :3
