🇬🇧🇪🇺 Brexit’s barriers are costing British businesses, farmers and artists. Touring sectors lost £208m and 2,490 jobs, while 59% of UK musicians say touring Europe is no longer viable. We must repair our relationship with the EU and remove unnecessary barriers.

🗑️ Fly-tipping is a blight on our communities. In Rushcliffe, there were 1,086 incidents last year. New Government proposals could give councils powers to make fly-tippers clean up their own mess and pay the cost of clearing it. 📣 Have your say by 16 October.
🔥 Extreme heat and drought are putting growing pressure on our countryside and rural communities. I helped draft a letter to ministers calling for a joined-up approach to wildfire prevention, preparedness and response. 👉 tinyurl.com/yvsuprux

🌍 Keeping homes comfortable shouldn't cost the planet. I'm backing calls to expand the Boiler Upgrade Scheme to include air to air heat pumps, providing low carbon heating in winter, cooling in summer, lower energy bills and more climate ready homes for the future.
🚨People expect dangerous offenders to stay behind bars and victims to come first. I welcome the decision to exclude those convicted of rape, serious child sexual offences and grooming from sentencing changes. Public safety must always come first. 👓 Read more: www.gov.uk/government/n...
