With the 2026 theme of “Peace and Unity, Let it Start with Us,” I joined thousands of Angelenos, including members of the Association of Black City Attorneys in our office, for LA’s Official Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade - one of the nation’s largest celebrations of Dr. King’s enduring legacy.

Thank you Consul-General Tanya Bennett for hosting the commemoration of Australia’s National Day of Mourning to remember the 15 people killed and the 40 injured in last month’s Bondi Beach terrorist attack. I appreciate your role in building bridges in LA for Jews & allies here and around the world.
