You absolutely do not need to join our Discord to take part! Our event is entirely hosted on our website. Some people find our Discord easier to communicate through and share their works, but everything event-based (submissions, hubs, etc) is hosted on site for all to see.

Our site experienced a brief issue on the first day shortly after the event opened where our host was down for a short time but we've had no further issues reported. We recommend trying the site in another browser than you usual one to see if the issue reoccurs. VPNs shouldn't prevent access.

While it does help to have your accounts in English, it's not a requirement! We have some staff who speak Spanish, but we can also use translation sites to assist if your account is in a language we're not familiar with.

You do need to be somewhat active on social media in order to join our event. We don't expect people to be glued to their accounts 24/7, but we require a good number of posts going back several months on one account.

Honestly, we have no idea! We don't think we've reached it just yet 😂 If you feel your posts are getting quite lengthy, there is a Spoiler function that can hide images and text which can help break up long posts. This function is also very useful for hiding sensitive topics that need a warning.
