Obviously rabies vaccines don't cause doggy autism, but also, and I mean this in the most complimentary way possible: dogs are already pretty autistic Like oh no will my dog hyperfixate on a toy? Will he become upset when his routine is disrupted? What if he gets agitated by loud noises or crowds?!

As rabies seems to be spreading more in wildlife, veterinarians are especially worried about vaccine hesitancy spreading among pet owners, a dangerous trend that could lead to more dogs -- and their owners -- becoming infected. A 2023 study published in the journal Vaccine found in a nationally representative sanple of Americans that nearly 40% believed canine vaccines were unsafe and 37% believed that vaccines could lead their dogs to develop cognitive issues, such as autism

Why, you might ask, do the BBC and Sky News, casting their editorial guidelines to the wind, keep giving massive airtime to the far right, while shutting out leftwing voices? Don't their bosses understand the likely consequences? Only one explanation now remains. They do. And it is what they want.

Yes, I hold strong opinions & call things out. Not out of bitterness. I criticise practices, not people. I reject complicity. What I will always do is amplify individuals with care, craft, & conscience. That’s the line I walk & I walk it on purpose. We need better. I believe we can build it.
