One of the hardest parts of being COVID aware & seeing airborne illness an issue of justice is that even when a mask requirement makes an event accessible, I can’t really relate to those only “willing to mask” as a one-off. I can access the event =/= I can build meaningful community at the event.
Since this happened I've been feeling so hopeless about my own recovery, I've been flaring with crashes, and I've been trying so hard not to go into a dark space. I've been dealing with this for over a year. I'm so tired.

Dear [ Ms. / Mr. NAME],
I am reaching out to express my concern regarding the new PPWR and EPR regulations, as they will ruin small businesses. Small and micro-enterprises worldwide are calling for adjustments to the new EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) regulation, as the requirement to register in 27 different EU member states imposes an unrealistic bureaucratic and financial burden that will force thousands of independent businesses to withdraw from the EU market. This legislation contradicts the principle of the free movement of goods within the EU, which is intended to facilitate cross-border trade between member states without customs duties, quotas, or non-tariff trade barriers. By denying exemptions for micro-enterprises, the PPWR and EPR regulations create an insurmountable barrier for businesses that ship only a few orders per year. While this may not trigger an immediate economic collapse, it will inflict irreparable damage on the economy; after all, small businesses account for around 99% of all enterprises in the EU, and the shutdown of even a small fraction of them would have severe consequences. Furthermore, if left unchanged, the PPWR and EPR regulations would deprive millions of people of their sole source of income and potentially lead to mass layoffs; many of these individuals are people with disabilities who are unable to pursue other forms of employment. This will almost certainly trigger a wave of unemployment that the EU, in its current state, is ill-equipped to handle.
