I want to thank everyone who came to my final comic books and pop culture garage sales of 2026. I haven't done the final tally yet, but it appears I did slightly over 200% of my weekend goal. I also received helpful suggestions for my remaining 2026 convention appearances and next year's sales.
I don't want to confuse anyone coming to my garage sales this weekend, but, as of the first of September, my address will be 840 Black Lightning Drive,in the city of Jenny, in the state of Godzilla, in South Canada. My driveway is off Tigra Court. Medina Square will become Mothra Square

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY: DC Comics Happy Hour. Barb and I went on Thursday and Saturday and had a great time. Everyone was so welcoming. I met Andrea Shea and Jodie Troutman. I caught up with Jim Chadwick. I have rarely been treated so well by a publisher. 7-30-26

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY: Comic-Con 2026. The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence had a surprise for me. They declared me Saint Gwenhwfar, Superlative Scribe of Lightning and Rainbows & Transcendent Troubadour of the Age of Bronze. I’m a saint. But you all knew that already, right? 7-29-36.
THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY: Comic-Con 2026. My first panel was “Transgender and Non-Binary Creators” on Thursday at 4 pm. The moderator was Tara Madison Avery with panelists Margeaux Pepoy, Simon Jane Robrock, Sonya Saturday, Mac Maclean and Liam Coballes. 7-28-26
My final garage sales of 2026 will be on Friday and Saturday, August 28 and 29, from 9 am to noon, at 840 Damon Drive in Medina, Ohio. While I'm not going through the thousands of items in the sale and individually lowering their prices. I will be knocking money off them when you check out.

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY: This Godzilla TUBBZ (Giant XL Edition) was a gift from two of my dearest friends. I’d never heard of these “cosplaying collectible ducks” before this. I love it and it’ll have a place of honor in my office. 4-1-26.
THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY: The Atlas Comics Library from Fantagraphics and editor Dr. Michael J. Vassallo. What fascinates me about Atlas is its variety: horror, war, humor and much more. I am in awe of these amazing collections. 3-31-26.
THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY: Kaleidoscope Desert. My bucket list has added a trip to this animal sanctuary and vacation spot seen on Wild Vacation Rentals. It’s beautiful with several unique places for overnight stays. Close to Joshua Tree National Park. 3-30-29.

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY: M&M's Lemon Meringue Pie. Like manna from the heavens. They’re a limited-edition featuring a zesty lemon-flavored white chocolate shell and a crispy rice center. They might kill me, but what a way to go! 3-29-26.
CALLING ALL HANDS! I never received a W-2 from Disney Worldwide Services (aka Marvel). Can anyone give me contact information for the department that handles this? I've filed an extension, but I still need to get my earnings information ASAP.
THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY: Hemingway’s Underground. Saintly Wife Barb and I had a wonderful time at Medina’s best cocktail lounge. Cozy atmosphere to die for. Great service. A huge drink menu. Delicious entrees and shareables. Highly recommended. We will be back. 3-28-26.
Happy Easter! Early this morning, I went out hunting with my friend Elmer. We bagged a rabbit, a duck, and a hippie in a white sheet. I'm not sure how to grill that last one.
I know the Ohio bill that could put me in jail can be voted down by the Ohio Senate or even vetoed by the governor. But I don't have much faith in Ohio's Republicans. If it does go into effect, I will violate it frequently. [continued]
THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY: The Pitt. Gerran Howell is outstanding as first-year resident Dennis Wittaker. Watching him grow from medical student to mentor has been heartwarming. His empathy for his co-workers and patients is next level. 3-27-26.
THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY: The Pitt. Isa Briones thrills me with her portrayal of Dr. Trinity Santos, “a self-assured and abrasive intern.” It’s a complicated performance, especially in the moments when Briones goes beyond her character’s seeming lack of empathy. 3-26-26.
THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY: Star Trek Deep Space Nine: The Dog of War by Mike Chen and Angel Hernandez. From 2004, this adventure centers on a rare Corgi. Intrigue, humor, and nice moments for all the DS9 cast. Fun stuff. 3-25-26.
THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY: Funko Pop! Movies’ Godzilla ‘65 Victory Dance. Classic kaiju choreography as seen in Invasion of the Astro-Monsters aka Monster Zero. He is the Fred Astaire of giant monsters. Share in his glorious victory over Ghidorah. 3-24-26.
THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY: Margeaux Pepoy. The talented artist (and dear friend of mine for many years) came out as trans on her Facebook page. She was warmly received by the comics community, which makes me so very proud to be part of that community. 3-23-26.
