This was one of the most exciting early game announcements for the ps5. Judging by this and what other people have been saying, I don’t think insomniac has shipped a flop this big since FUZE.

Tested Switch 2 VRR Games need to be patched, only Welcome Tour supports it now It supports full LFC in 120hz mode In 60hz mode, it supports between 40-60hz like Xbox which is better than PS5's 48-60hz support Thankfully with the internal screen being VRR, most games should have it going forward

Kojima blowing Sony up publicly means shit went so poorly there's no chance they ever work together again. Sony did a speedrun and is now probably more despicable than even XBox.
SE had 2-3 AAA games in a row not sell near expectations on Sony hardware. They want to signal being on other shit as hard as possible and a state of play is the worst place to do that. It’s very smart of SE, honestly.
Conando@conando.bsky.social · 2d agoFor me, it really set in when Kingdom Hearts IV showed up at the Nintendo Direct and 7 Revelation was at the Geoff Show instead of the Sony State of Play that just happened a few weeks earlier. No idea of what was going on in the background, but it seemed bad just from that.
As the industry started to burn down, there was a rough 1 1/2 years where every industry outlet just underplayed and ignored it and every week it was heartbreaking for me to cover. Eventually I had to stop caring for my own sanity’s sake cause all of these are unsaveable. It’s a rigged outcome.
No. They don’t envision a world where they have to earn customers.

Wonder why I am getting into retro and indie gaming A LOT MORE as the AAA industry is completely collapsing, spiting their consumers, and gnawing off their own limbs for shareholders’ amusement. Oh right, cause I hated bein pissed all the time & the indie/retro stuff was always my favorite.
