I swear, there's just so much charm in indie games that so many AAA games lack now. It's refreshing to see the wimsy, passion, and excitement of creation still alive and well. When you no longer create for the love of creation. It reflects in your work.

Last week was a rough one. I had to help my 12 yr old cat cross the rainbow bridge after his cancer got to be too painful for him to eat I stepped away. rearranged the house a bit, did some therapy cleaning, and read all the emails and comments from my Awklets. The support has been incredible.

Four months old! Puppy update! The passed the vet's checkup and got many treats and pets from the staff. Hobbies include: eating. Sleeping. Being stinky. And protecting the yard from butterflies.

In my ttrpg campaigns. I chuckle when I add a scarred or maimed character of high wealth. In a world with magical healing. I have to get creative with finding a reason why they wouldn't pay the money to have a powerful healer fix the inconvenience. "I don't heal it. As a reminder.." is overdone.

It's very hard to stay on track when these eyes keep looking at me. 😭
