25 years ago this moment I was sitting on the runway at National Airport waiting to take off. I remember the flight was about 6 minutes late. We took off at 8:46 AM — the same moment the first plane hit the World Trade Center. When we landed an hour later, the world would never be the same again.

The faded US Airways ticket stub from my flight on the morning of 9/11/01.

I look forward to the 2028 Democratic nominee turning to him in a debate and saying "Oh, you were secretly against the war? That means you were too weak to do anything about it. You couldn't remove your lips from Trump's ass long enough to stand up like a man, you pathetic coward."

Incredibly obvious how JD Vance keeps "leaking" these "sources close to JD Vance say JD Vance was secretly against the Iran war" stories; kind of unbelievable that the Times has now published two pieces like this www.nytimes.com/2026/09/10/u...

All Husted does is repetitively rubber stamp whatever Trump wants. Should he be replaced by a robot? Isn’t that what the brain-dead corpse of Mitch McConnell already does? Mitch has already been replaced by an autopen. As William Wrigley said, “When two men always agree, one of them is unnecessary.”

Sen. Husted: "If you worked in something that had a repetitive nature to it, those kinds of jobs are going away. They’re going to be replaced by robots. I don’t think that is a bad thing, because I don’t think those are enriching– the enriching kinds of jobs that most people want to do."

"Interviewees describe hacking little girls’ phones to see when their fathers came home and then bombing their houses, listening while the people on the line screamed and pleaded for help, while mothers cried over their burning daughters."

Every time you see concerning news about AI, remember: Trump and the GOP want to block all regulation of this technology. John James voted to override state AI laws multiple times, and Republicans are taking millions from AI billionaires. www.npr.org/2026/09/09/n...

Anthropic researcher resigns amid AI safety concerns

A researcher at the AI company Anthropic resigned with a warning that the entire artificial intelligence industry is designing tools that humans will soon lose control of.

Ukraine and Canada signed a declaration on a 100-year partnership. Canada will provide over $430 million in loan guarantees for gas purchases, new air-defense support and $40 million for a Ukrainian veterans fund. Zelensky said the first document under a bilateral Drone Deal was also signed #Ukraine

Why does the Washington Sun — which I very much want to support — have a share button for X, but not for Bluesky? Why insult us like this? It’s shameful. You should know better.

Ah yes, First Energy’s guy, Jon Husted. Sure, there’s no known evidence he received a bribe, but maybe it’s just not yet been found. I mean, if you party with 🦌, you’re gonna get 🩸 sucking ticks. I’m just saying. tiffinohio.net/posts/hb-6-b...
