IMO, once a financial transaction is involved, it becomes a business transaction which should have a due date and proper communication between the artist and commissioner

It's like Amnesty International UK have never heard of the Streisand Effect. I fully intend on challenging this DMCA strike and force them to litigate this in federal court in the US if they want to take it down. This is squarely fair use.

I've never seen such an effort to censor a document as I have the Amnesty International report on gender critical groups because of JK Rowling. They removed the report from the Wayback Machine and now I got a DMCA strike on my Google Drive for having it. It was deleted and removed from my account.

I came across someone today who said they use AI because they "can't draw". I told them I couldn't either, until I learned. They said, "but how do I learn?" Gen-AI usage isn't necessarily vindictive, but we do need to encourage people to stop relying on it, and preferably, stop using it entirely.
