For example, I posted a selfie on one of the other platforms and of course everyone is being normal about it. 🥴

I will take my sleep being disrupted every time even if it’s nothing over missing something important when it happens. A bunch of little girls died last year at Camp Mystic because people were neglectful and not properly prepared to deal with flooding. A little loss of sleep won’t hurt.

Despite it being June in Texas, yesterday was my first day in the pool all season. I made a Sauvignon Blanc fruit smoothie (wine, peaches, mango, and honey) that turned out delicious and had the best company. 😎
I have two very different dynamics with my two partners: One of them gives me head scritches and caresses my skin until I fall asleep in his arms, and the other *I* give gentle leg and foot rubs until they’re sleeping like a kitten. My life is pure magic.

Hotter take: we need to stop the ongoing dumbing down of everything in the name of “American accessibility” and stop ceding to people who don’t want to learn. Some things are just above your level and if you never want to reach that, that’s a choice you can make.

There’s a reason they’re targeting libraries. They don’t want you educated. They don’t want you to have a nuanced view of history. Or to read novels that will give you empathy. Or to know about inspiring women, Black or LGBTQ people. They want you intellectually small and easy to manipulate.

I inhaled “Yesteryear” in two days and loved it. It’s about a tradwife that gets transported back in time to actually have to live the life she’s selling to other people and it’s delicious and biting.
When I get the urge to setup office hours to fit in all the people who I want to spend time with or want to spend time with me, I know I’m probably doing too much.
