Bleh, this sucks. There’s a scene where Nic Cage is trying to suppress newly emerging spider instincts and he’s legitimately great at it. Plus I cannot keep my eyes off of Li Jun Li or Jack Huston anytime they’re on screen, Megawatt was so good and the show has Brendan Gleason!

"The news comes even as 'Spider-Noir' heads into the first weekend of Emmy ceremonies with 11 nominations — the most of any Prime Video program this year. The series also has a solid 92% rating on Rotten Tomatoes" Are the shareholders happy.

Outfit for a pirate burlesque last night!

It looks like getting hit with the age verification the other day through Bluesky was maaaaybe a glitch? But also Texas has legislation for it too.

they want you to believe that elon musk "earned" one trillion dollars, but poor people "stole" food stamps

crazy to me that rich people have been so successful in perpetuating the lie that the poor are stealing from everyone. they don't have any money. the rich people are the ones with the money! that's who stole the money

This was a nice notification. Taking better care of my body is paying off. 😌

Between walking a decent amount at work and taking up spinning with my stationary bike, I’ve been feeling incredibly good in my own body lately.

For example, I posted a selfie on one of the other platforms and of course everyone is being normal about it. 🥴

Also, the people advocating for everyone having their real names has never been a woman on the internet. 🫠

Aww, I like this.

Don't lose your head 🌈✨

Me: I’m feeling good, feeling decently recharged. Also me: *looks at waiting messages* Absolutely not.

I will take my sleep being disrupted every time even if it’s nothing over missing something important when it happens. A bunch of little girls died last year at Camp Mystic because people were neglectful and not properly prepared to deal with flooding. A little loss of sleep won’t hurt.

Ms. Eldritch@mseldritch.bsky.social · 4mo ago

Several emergency alerts went off last night on people’s phones due to flash flooding warnings. And now lots of people are complaining about it. It can be that you’re slightly annoyed about the loss of sleep AND—the important part is “AND”!—be grateful that alert system exists.

i keep thinking about this video and about how the Republicans want to sell 20 somethings on the dream of living in a shack like the Unabomber, masturbating to the concept of a mythical submissive bangmaid, instead of feeling collective joy

KNICKS IN FIVE KNICKS PRIDE BROOKLYN

Despite it being June in Texas, yesterday was my first day in the pool all season. I made a Sauvignon Blanc fruit smoothie (wine, peaches, mango, and honey) that turned out delicious and had the best company. 😎

Ope. 👀

The Knicks victory is generating so much passion and excitement that if it ran in a primary election, Establishment Democrats would not support it.

I have two very different dynamics with my two partners: One of them gives me head scritches and caresses my skin until I fall asleep in his arms, and the other *I* give gentle leg and foot rubs until they’re sleeping like a kitten. My life is pure magic.

Oh no, Oliver Tree died. 😔

Between walking a decent amount at work and taking up spinning with my stationary bike, I’ve been feeling incredibly good in my own body lately.

Hotter take: we need to stop the ongoing dumbing down of everything in the name of “American accessibility” and stop ceding to people who don’t want to learn. Some things are just above your level and if you never want to reach that, that’s a choice you can make.

James Joyce is gonna read this and come back from the dead so he can publish Finnegan's Wake 2 out of sheer spite.

There’s a reason they’re targeting libraries. They don’t want you educated. They don’t want you to have a nuanced view of history. Or to read novels that will give you empathy. Or to know about inspiring women, Black or LGBTQ people. They want you intellectually small and easy to manipulate.

Yes true. 🙂‍↕️

Fight forever, Guardian.

I inhaled “Yesteryear” in two days and loved it. It’s about a tradwife that gets transported back in time to actually have to live the life she’s selling to other people and it’s delicious and biting.

Aww. 🥰

Yeah, this all about tracks lmao

When I get the urge to setup office hours to fit in all the people who I want to spend time with or want to spend time with me, I know I’m probably doing too much.

we don't have a masculinity crisis. we have a patriarchy crisis. patriarchy creates and sustains male unhappiness with its dogmatic, toxic, rigid definition of masculinity which says the worst and most undesirable thing a human can be is female which is how we get insults like "Low-T Talarico"
