Our friend the Large-webbed Bell Toad lives in Yunnan, China and likely also in Myanmar! They are an extremely lumpy and bumpy toad who secretes toxins through their skin that protect them from both predators and diseases! (photo by 年年)

A very lumpy brown toad! They are really, really lumpy! They have a small lime green spot on their face and another on the top of their head, but gosh they are so lumpy! Each lump contains lots of small black spots, but there are so many spots because there are so many lumps! Wow that's a lot of lumps!

Angus and Betty have a Special Announcement today! They have now grown big enough that we can tell that they are both definitely Girls! To celebrate they each got an Extra Big Treatie!

Our friend the Bocourt's Toad lives in far southern Mexico and southwestern Guatemala! They normally live in coniferous highlands but have adapted to heavily disturbed treeless areas caused by logging! (photo by Chris Gruenwald Herp.mx)

A very warty brown toad with very large parotoid glands, sitting on a mossy rock! There is a purple flower petal next to their hind leg!

Our friend the Western Toad is active from around January to October every year, depending on weather, and hibernate during the winter! They often hibernate in natural hollows near streams, which tend to stay just above freezing temperatures! (photo by Luis Huxley)

A human hand holding a large toad! The toad is mottled in dark brown and pale green colors and is covered in lots of reddish-brown warty bumps! Their nose, legs, and large parotoid glands are also the reddish-brown color! They are very stout with strong-looking legs!
