Messa has been my musical obsession for a while, and they just happened to be playing on the last night of our vacation. Gonna be riding this high for a while.

That's, uh, a lot of Castlevania. Holy moly.

Not a fun post to be making but I recently lost my job and need to ask for help financially. The ticket I got earlier this year has disqualified me from my old work, and while my passive income covers some things, rent is still beating my ass. Any and all help is appreciated🙏 paypal.me/KatyScary

I don't believe in ghosts, but if you generate an AI image of me being welcomed into heaven upon my death, I will find a way to become a ghost to specifically haunt you and you alone until your dumb ass turns to dust.

Happy 30th to Wave Race 64, still one of the most thrilling racing experiences ever made! Here's a new single from yours truly! 🏁🌊

Today is the 40th anniversary of the release of Akumajō Dracula, aka: Castlevania in Japan on the Nintendo Famicom in 1986! I sadly didn't get anything put together for this special date, but did a short lore vid for the 35th anniversary in 2021! ❤️🦇❤️

Happy 40th anniversary to Castlevania! Which means we are coming right up on the 15th anniversary of my concept album BELMONT. So to celebrate, I'm giving out some free bandcamp download codes for both BELMONT and BELMONT 2. See below. Enjoy!

Last night, I spent an hour writing and tracking harmonies for a guitar part. Ultimately, I decided they were unnecessary, and I scrapped them. I still enjoyed the process of writing the harmonies & the decision-making that led to scrapping them. Not a waste of time! All part of the art.

Catching up with the new Russian Circles record, and boy, is it nasty.

Out sick with a nasty little cold Losing a day’s pay and buying cold medicine hurts! So… Unoriginal but timely coupon code SPOOKYSEASON gets you 20% off at my Gare Occult site through tomorrow.

Ah, cool. New neighbor is a "leaf blower every day because I'm bored" kind of guy.

I put together a playlist to serve as somewhat of a portfolio for my drumming. I wanted something easily shareable that highlights different styles/artists I’ve worked with. 🤘🏽🥁 music.apple.com/us/playlist/...

Any VGM pals planning to hit PGX next weekend? I'm planning to be there on Saturday at least, roaming the concert hall and the pinball area like usual.

I'll be at Needle Drop Records at 1780 Monroe Ave. in Brighton / #Rochester, NY, on Tuesday, Oct. 13 @ 7 p.m. alongside a few other horror/weird fiction writers for live readings. I'll be reading from "TRANSCRIPT 322.77," my new story about high strange goings on in the Catskills.

Hell of a Mastodon show tonight. One of the best I've seen from them.

RIP Gerrit Graham. If you haven't seen Phantom of the Paradise, fix that.

The new Anthrax record rips. They've been the most consistently great Big 4 band this century.

A fascinating piece of early Atari 2600 dev history! "City by the Lake" was a 1981 technical demo by Western Technologies, featuring a jet flying over a shimmering city landscape. We take a look at its story and share footage of the surviving demo. www.gamesthatwerent.com/2026/09/city...

Me telling my friends that they should listen to Monolord

Putting a little work into my Castlevania covers album. Laying down a solo on a deep cut track, for which I thought, "what if I slowed this down and gave it a Brown Album vibe?"

Perhaps a hot take or two, but this is their best album in the last 30 years (since Load), and it also has the worst production and mix in their entire discography.

"Death Magnetic" was released 18 years ago #OnThisDay in 2008! What's your favorite song on the album?

Loved watching my dude Adam Henry tear it up on drums for The Cybertronic Spree last night. Viking Spike!

Gonna be thinking about this face for the next month.

BTBAM going for that T&C Surf Designs vibe. Dig it.

Changing guitar strings and finally checking out the new Destroy Erase Improve remaster.

If you missed the Pittsburgh Plays Ozzy show last year, I just uploaded my group's performance of "Into the Void" with the video clips I could cobble together. Will do the same with the rest of the set. It was a special night! youtu.be/A3zqkNQMlEw?...
