Straight-on slose-up (macro) of a red-orange dahlia that more than fills the frame, cutting off some of the top and bottom of the blossom. The petals are all completely tubular. Drops of water are visible in many of the petals. The background is completely out of focus greenery with a couple blurred spots of orange and pink in the upper corners.

The edges of the petals are a little jagged, and are visibly divided into three lobes with creases running the length of the petals.
