Organizing to be an NDP MP for Ottawa Centre. Choose love, and make good trouble.

Yesterday I joined friends and colleagues at confederation park for the trans day of visibility. We must fight to ensure that trans people have access to all of the essential healthcare they need and stand up for our neighbours facing discrimination. Trans rights are human rights.

I am grateful to have so many incredible women on our campaign! Whether they’re talking to neighbours or helping keep our office running, these women are an important part of our movement!

This ceasefire happened because for the last 15 months, people all over the world have demanded peace with justice. The next steps — when we end all forms of genocidal violence — will happen for the same reason. #cdnpoli news.un.org/en/story/202...

"My name is Sam and I support Joel because he's an organizer, and I think we need an organizer here in #OttawaCentre to win this seat. Joel is always there and shows up for people, and that's what people need, that’s what people want." - Sam Hersh, campaign volunteer. #canpoli

Yesterday I asked the government to support my motion to tackle gridlock, get buses back on the road, and fund the transit you deserve - they said no. Conservatives would rather see you stuck in traffic, or waiting 40 minutes for your bus. Shame. #onpoli
