Like many other Iranian Americans, I spent much of yesterday glued to my phone. In the evening, however, I spontaneously volunteered to man a "bluegrass petting zoo" for a few hours at an opry in Kenmore, WA. It was delightful to see people of all ages interact with instruments for the first time.

Another year, another #Wintergrass! Last February, I was too shy to play with other musicians at this festival. This year, however, I formed a jam circle with other members of the Outlanders Progressive Bluegrass Social Club along with a few spontaneous recruits! It was really special.

The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.

We recently added a few new faces to our adventuring party, and Erin is one of them! I first worked with Erin on Journeys Through the Radiant Citadel. I was amazed by her keen sense of narrative and worldbuilding then, and she's done a ton of great work since. We're lucky to have her! #WOTCstaff
