Our team is deeply saddened by the loss of former MP Kirsty Duncan. With a background as a scientist, she was a tireless supporter of research and EDI in STEM. During a visit to @westernu.ca last spring she was kind, positive and generous with her time. Our thoughts are with her family and friends.

Today, Sept. 30, we observe National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (NDTR). This day is dedicated to honouring the children who never made it home and the Survivors of residential schools. It also serves to raise awareness about the intergenerational impacts of these experiences.
