Over the last weeks I've been editing a manuscript. I hate the editing part of the job. It is uncomfortable, brings into focus all the inadequacies and failed compositional mechanics that read so well in the initial draft, but in review, fail to match the sweetness of the well water of the rest.

Couple recs: - @lairdbarron.bsky.social's horror western story "Bulldozer" is worth the price of the collection it's in, THE IMAGO SEQUENCE. - @cshumble.bsky.social's THAT LIGHT SUBLIME trilogy. I read THE MASSACRE AT YELLOW HILL and really enjoyed it! Eager to get to the other two books.
