With fall officially underway, it's time to kick off Ledding Library's Fall Author series! 🍁 This series, which offers free author presentations, is a cherished event for Milwaukie's incredible community of readers and enduring learners. We promise you won't want to miss this line up!

This summer, we asked our community to design bookmarks and we had so much fun looking through everyone's entries! The creativity was boundless and Zenna, Zoe, and Julianna's ideas brought a smile to our faces. We're working on getting these printed so these bookmarks can come home with you ❤️

Romance Book Club is back at Spoke & Word Books! Join us on Tuesday, October 27th for the next installment of B.K. Borison's Ghosted series, Grim Tidings 🥀 This spooky yet simmering enemies-to-lovers tale is perfect for fall and has become a favorite here at the shop.

After peeking at pre-orders, we crunched some numbers to see Milwaukie's most anticipated! It's so much fun seeing what everyone is excited to read, as it often gives us some ideas on what you all want to see on the shelves. It is such a privilege to be able to reflect this community in the shop 💙

After many requests, it's happening. We have a horror book club! 🔪 🩸 On Wednesday, October 21st @ 6 PM, we will be gathering to discuss Wolf Worm by T. Kingfisher. If you're looking for something brilliantly creepy, join us! This southern gothic novel will make your skin crawl.

On September 17th, join us for a presentation on Youth Suicide Prevention 🎗️ Hosted by licensed clinical social worker, Monica Parmley-Frutiger, this presentation will provide skills to recognize when a young person needs support, have caring conversations about suicide & connect them with resources.
