The fact that this is imaginary is perfect. The whole premise is based on a fantasy that the optimal form of public education is the midpoint of a polarized society. Just split the difference between the science of climate change and the lobby of denialism.

Vor einer Woche fand das ORF-Zukunftsforum statt. Was mich noch immer beschäftigt: diese Nullsummenspiel-Mentalität. Als wäre eine Schwächung des ORF automatisch ein Gewinn für private Medien und die Öffentlichkeit. Drei Gedanken dazu:

Der Preis für Diesel und Berzin steigt und steigt. Die Spritpreisbremse war schnell erfunden und wenig wirksam. Bei den Kosten für ÖFFIS war man weniger einfallsreich, sie sind extrem gestiegen.... schade. orf.at/stories/3442... orf.at

What I love about Western democracy is you can bung a political party £ 36 million earned from criminal activity & most media will continue to point at asylum seekers & migrant care workers with families as the barbarians at the gate we need to defend ourselves from 🙄.
Everyone still using X is using a website that produces and distributes CSAM. It is disgusting and immoral and nobody has any excuse for not being fully aware at this point.

Habe jetzt also zum ersten Mal jemanden mit den #PervertGlasses gesehen. Man fühlt sich sofort unwohl. Ist auch ein Statement, als medien- und politikaffine Person so etwas anzuziehen. Als Gegenüber denkt man sich dann halt seinen Teil.
Nochmal nachgerechnet: Bei keiner deutschen Landtagswahl seit 1990 gab es einen so starken Anstieg der Wahlbeteiligung. Einen ähnlich hohen Wert erreichte nur Sachsen von 2014 auf 2019.

Gestern & heute viele wichtige & kluge Stimmen zur Zukunft des ORF gehört. Zum Schluss fände ich es dennoch wichtig, dass sich der ORF nicht vorrangig über sein Verhältnis zu privaten Medien definiert & weiterentwickelt, sondern vor allem über seine Rolle als demokratische Infrastruktur für alle.
