@bbc5live.bsky.social Burnhams “devolution” is just Labour’s claim that Scotland has the most centralised Govt in Western Europe but omitting the small population which is itself largely concentrated in the central belt and the north-east. (also Dundee isn’t far from Edinburgh).
Switching off the constant news and playing for a bit, my therapy.
A snippet of my in-store acoustic set at HMV in Edinburgh last weekend
Braves Princes St in Edinburgh on a sunny Saturday afternoon and played an acoustic in-store set at HMV. Really welcoming staff and punters. Enjoyed it immensely and it’s nice to be able to get a train to a gig rather than driving in with all my PA. Pics by HMV staff
If you are a bit of a history geek, and want an escape from the news and the usual nonsense, I can heartily recommend this channel. Enjoy youtu.be/fGECFdKAqVI?si

BBC harping on about no majority in Scotland when the Scottish Parliament was set up for coalition and to make a majority difficult
Meant to say, its @bandcamp Friday where the artists get 100% of anything sold on there. If you fancy making my weekend and buying some of my music (most of it is at a price of your choice), then that would be fantastic. graemecampbell73.bandcamp.com

One minute of playing. I’ll often spend a while just improvising to clear my head, here’s a snippet
Two years ago today I released this song, "Falling Down". It's on all the platforms (but Bandcamp is best). Turn off the news for a few minutes and have a listen. distrokid.com/hyperfollow/...

Sometimes you just have to turn off the news and have a jam.
I've got a new song coming out that was born out of what has been going on in the US. "Hard To See", Available as a free download on Bandcamp now, or pre-save on Spotify. It will also be on all the other platforms soon (link in the replies)
A new song inspired by recent events. Available now for free on Bandcamp and next week on the streaming services graemecampbell73.bandcamp.com/track/hard-t...

Nothing better than doing a gig in a Scottish pub on Hogmanay, like at the Settle Inn, in Stirling. Absolutely brilliant crowd in, including wedding guests, tourists and locals. They didn’t even mind my occasional bum notes and (by the end) croaky voice. Happy Hogmanay and lang may yer lum reek.
If you’re a guitar player that knows a few open chords but wants to spice them up and embellish them a bit, here’s a few wee tips and ideas around the G chord. I’ll do some others soon. 😀
If the news is getting a wee bit heavy, here's a tune I put out back in 2024 called "Falling Down". Hope you enjoy it, and if you do, feel free to share and have a listen to my other stuff. distrokid.com/hyperfollow/...

This is one of my rockier tunes, that I put out earlier this year. Just a simple song about superficial and in-authentic people, especially those in power. If you like it, turn it up and let your neighbours hear it too :) (Links in the reply below)
I’m usually playing covers gigs these days (bills to pay), but I’ve been revisiting my older Americana inspired songs. I was playing through “Nowhere to Run” this afternoon. My newer stuff is available on my pinned post.
As G&L Guitars have ceased to exist as a company, thought I’d give mine a good play today
Racism isn't an opinion or "point of view", it's a moral failing.
Seriously BBC why do you give Reform & Farage so much coverage? We never hear from Stephen Flynn who has double the MPs, never mind the Lib Dem’s. #radiofourtoday
For your listening pleasure I've collected together my recent singles and a bonus acoustic track into a handy EP. Available now on Bandcamp, Spotify, YouTube etc. (link below in replies) #music
Gutted that Bobby Whitlock has passed away. One of the best vocalists in rock and was always very kind in our brief interactions online in recent years. Rest well Bobby youtu.be/q_FTFqDZZEk?...

On Saturday I had a fun acoustic covers gig at the Settle Inn, in Stirling (which is so old that Jacobites used to frequent it). Always a great place to play but even better when there are folk in who really enjoy what you do 😀. #Scotland
All of my music is on Bandcamp for your listening pleasure. You can buy it at a price of your choosing, or have it for free. All I ask is you spread the word. Hope you enjoy it. graemecampbell73.bandcamp.com
