the thing about leaving a fandom is trying to find the new fun interesting thing and trying to get the feed to populate it!! I don't really engage with a lot of media usually... Sure am enjoying all the dinos on my feed though

SO excited to finally be moving out of this house!! We've been packed up since they said "the house is legally unlivable" but then they made it nearly impossible to relocate... I'm especially excited to move to a town with an actual gym, get swole again instead of just stronk

It's happened againnnnn my poor old dog is going back to the vet for gut troubles. It's expensive and we're in the middle of moving house at the same time SO! I'm open for comms again :D Coloured sketches! Any size, starting at $20 All species welcome! Render level may vary c:

Kickstarter officially banning adult content now. Knew this was coming, but it still sucks to have yet another part of the internet that I've been explicitly evicted from. Digital gentrification is exhausting.

Screenshot of Kickstarter's new rules against mature content, in which everything pornographic is banned. It's a long document that's formatted in a way that I can't copy and paste all the text that's in it, but the first is that all point and anything sexual is now banned. This part of the document outlines how even self censoring your own work will not work, because even the implication of sex is too much. Even in prose works. This document is confusing because it says that erotic comics ARE allowed... you just can't show sex acts or genitals or try to arouse people. Also you can make sex toys, just so long as they're not for sexual gratification. This is how Kickstarter's email began:

"Hello,
Kickstarter has always been a home for bold, boundary-pushing creative work, including mature content projects like romance novels, nude art books, and provocative comics. Creators working in this space are a valued part of our community, and that hasn’t changed." And yet it definitely has changed.
