I'm working on a shirt design where I want it to have a decently sized embroidered design on the front chest! My Dermatomyositis still negatively and irreversibly impacts my everyday life.
However, I have learned to not linger on being bitter, to not make my body the enemy.

I often take the time to appreciate how fortunate I am to still be able to pursue my creative work, despite the unfortunate hand I was dealt.
Instead of being caught up in frustration with my disabilities limiting me greatly, I treat myself gently and patiently.
I am lucky to be surrounded by friends and loved ones who understand me and are mindful of my wellbeing, too.
