Berlin is not a city known for green spaces, but look hard enough and you might find some Autumnal treats along the way! 🍂 Tonight I'm performing Hank Chinaski in Berlin with good friend, incredible songwriter Salvage My Dream! Pre-order my new album below! www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/as-the-bra...

Ok, I'll be honest... It's hard to look into the light and smile when you've been getting up at 5am for five days in a row with four (maybe five) hours of sleep each night! But these five days of tour between Scotland, Denmark and Germany have been a JOY. www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/as-the-bra...

ANNOUNCEMENT! I've launched my Crowdfunder for my new album, As The Bracken Dance which you can pledge for Vinyl, CDs, Tea Towels and more! The album explores themes around enclosure, disconnection and connection to landscape. Find out more below 👇 www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/as-the-bra...

This weekend was a first. And one that I think will be a first of many. Anne-Marie Sanderson joined on my songs on cello for two shows, one at Britain's highest youth hostel, the other at an alternative community space near the Scottish border. Loking forward to more duo shows in the future!

Tour starting this week. Who's in? www.johnnycampbell.co.uk/tour

Tonight I'll be in Derby, doing something I've never done before - talking on a panel. Invited by the national Right to Roam team to be part of a panel talking about new films linked with the campaign, activism, and more. 🐏 Wish us luck 🍀 Tour: www.johnnycampbell.co.uk/tour

Kicked off the latter third of the year's shows last night at Wetherby Folk Club. This week I'll be recording videos for future single releases ahead of the album release in February. 02.10. Skiddaw House/ KESWICK 03.10. Kin Hill Community / LANERCOST More dates on: www.johnnycampbell.co.uk/tour

Have you listened to my new single John Clare's Dream yet? 🤞

John Clare's Dream is out today! This new single is in honour of poet and song collector John Clare, whose personal story in the 18th & 19th century is synonymous with enclosure, and the rapid change in the way of life during the Industrial Revolution. johnnycampbell.bandcamp.com/track/john-c...

Second time around 😂 CONFESSION: I'm not the most technological person, and when someone asked if they could pay as they couldn't, I realised I'd not made that option possible! That is remedied! If you downloaded and would like to contribute, do so here johnnycampbell.bandcamp.com/album/nuremb...

Filmed in Bosnia, at a remote mountain hut, this adaptation of Byron's poem, 'Go No More A-Roving' is a full clip on my Patreon, also with a blog on abandoned bobsled track urban exploration on Trebević mountain at 4000ft. www.patreon.com/posts/163168...

What happens when you get a couple of Yorkshire musicians who've been walking the ridges of Bosnian mountains, and they stumble upon a mountain hut with an acoustic guitar inside? Before we hit an abandoned bobsled track, we filmed a video from this location. www.patreon.com/posts/163168...

One of the most rewarding moments of the 'promoter' side of what I do, has been Warp + Weft earlier this month. Warp + Weft is a melting pot of influences, under the banner of what we call 'Folk'. I wrote a piece below for those who missed out 👇 www.patreon.com/posts/158788...

Next week, Sunday 24th May, I'll be doing a rare Leeds show at The Attic. There will also be a @righttoroam.bsky.social West Yorkshire stall and a short talk from them. Would really love to pack this one out: www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/the-attic-...

94 years ago, the Kinder Trespassers from Salford, Manchester and Sheffield, trespassed on the grouse moors of Kinder Scout, in the fight for "Open Air Access". In years to come, this is seen as "one of the most successful pieces of direct action in British History" by Labour MP Roy Hattersley.

This Friday I'll be kicking off the Kinder Trespass anniversary celebrations in Hathersage at Open House... Do I know many folks from the Peaks on here? 🤞 www.openhousehathersage.com/events/johnn...
