Got back from the gym. Got in a good run and finished the emotional roller coaster that is The Amazing Digital Circus, or as some refer to it, #TADC. I'm anal retentive enough to think it should be ADC,T

Pic from earlier. The red tint is ftom the filter on the glasses, the sky itself looks perfectly normal
There's a partial solar eclipse in Maine this afternoon. Still got the glasses from the last eclipse. Not easy getting pics of it as the glasses aren't really compatible with cameras
Hey @novarlynx.bsky.social do you know where the coldest gunfight of the old West was held? At the 0K Corral. #rimshot
The festival goers were stopped cold cause this is the worst, laziest, animal cosplay they'd seen. You know what's really funny? There's already porn of this. Go to e621 and search on keyword "lobster"
If a human "lobster" on a plate at Maine Lobster Festival makes you uncomfortable, imagine how the real lobsters feel! Leave them off your plate🦞❌🍽️
1>The division on using AI, between those who are stridently opposed to any AI works and those who defend using it to me parallels a rather well known literally division from Ursula K LeGuin: "The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas" Many of us have seen the problems with AI:
If you live somewhere outside the PNW that has or had ANY size of local therian community, even just three people, please get in touch! I want to know how things are elsewhere. I need stories. I need experiences. Short, long, everything. I'm doing it, I'm really going to write this book. RT? <3
A compilation of assorted video I took at Anthrocon this year. Video can be seen https://youtu.be/P4pVa9blOpk.
Got two dog bowls this year, one red and one green. Picked up an ebadge at @14werewolves.bsky.social and a second just in case. A crop top and undies in coyote colors from @tailends.bsky.social, for when I want to be triksterish, and a ton of stickers and a slap bracelet! Slap bracelets are cool.
One of the vendors I absolutely had to visit was @transformartive.com. I picked up an ashcan comic and some badges. MrWolf for @benny-g.bsky.social, and I love popcorn, so I must be a popfur. That's...what that term means, right? And a cool bag and red tinted glasses to show the hidden secrets.
Book I bought from @gneech.com. The green cuffs were from A Thousand Rasps. The koozies and bumper stickers were from @mangoisland.bsky.social. The werewolf was from @soic.bsky.social. the other prints and stickers were from @astrafauna.bsky.social. I saw those constellation wolves and fell in love.
Some of the swag I got this year from being Staff/Sponsor. The ribbon on the badge was from Chocopony.
@erinkitsune.bsky.social hosting a panel about her webcomic, about two wolves, living in a wolf pack, that have to hide their true shapeshifting identities. https://wolfsjourney.com/index.html
One of Ayanah Moor's prints in the DLCC. This term I had heard of. Not lately, though. It might be time to bring it back!
Some folks bring their cool cars to Anthrocon, some bring trains. This was set up in the Westin. Something about trains that's appealing.
MLP:FiM has been off the air for 7 years, but the love is still there for Princess Twilight Sparkle.
One of Ayanah Moor's prints in the DLCC. I honestly never heard this term before. But then, I didn't have friends who did cocaine. Well, that I knew of, at least.
Furryland's sticker sign is nice and all, but top prize to the sticker collecting robot.
Yay, Speet's here. Yes, this Scion is decked out to look like a time machine.
Cities don't like it when street signs and poles are covered in stickers, furry or otherwise. One solution is provide something else to slap stickers onto. It looks bare now, but it in a few years it's going to be sooo colorful.
Tunderhorn. Part bull, part wolf, part metal arm.
Behind the smol fire truck was an old car from a prior century. Apologies for the fuzz at the bottom, I was wearing paw gloves when I took the photo.
Looking out over the streets from the roof of the DLCC. The traffic may have died down, but you'll still find furries around the main hotel at all hours of the day or night.
The furry community is awesome. You don't have to wear a fursuit. Any cosplay is welcome. Especially the spirit of Wintertide.
Another shot of the chibi firetruck. They probably don't have dalmatians in Japan so I imagine the firehouse dog is a spotted akita. :-)
One evening I was wandering around the 4th floor and came across this small gallery at the end of a hall. If I'd been here before I must have skipped past it, but now it intrigued. It's hard to see but the prints include slang from earlier decades. I'll post some pics I took of a few.
Just two adorable canines, stopping by the ConStore to pick up some swag.
Man, what happened that was so bad, they had to bring emergency vehicles in from Japan? I assume it's Japanese cause it's a chibi fire truck.
