Between my quests I sequin vests and impersonate Clark Gable… just an ordinary, average guy… Ann-Margret once blessed me.
Happiest of birthdays to Ann-Margret, the most famous person who has ever blessed me after I sneezed. Happened at #TCMFF 2023 during the introduction to Bye Bye Birdie at the Chinese Theater. @tcmtv.bsky.social

A quiet night in and just settling down with a small board, some wine, and Auntie Mame. A first-time watch for me.
Just a reminder that JD Vance has been a Catholic for less time than Nacho Fries have been on the Taco Bell menu.

A movie couple who would definitely have a podcast. (I’m counting shorts as movies. Deal with it.)

Paul Gleason was such a great asshole. He and William Atherton were the Butch and Sundance of 80s movies assholes. No one did it better than these two. Big time respect for these first-ballot inductees into the That Guy Hall Of Fame #TCMParty #TheBreakfastClub
Took me multiple viewings before I realized that in the opening montage there’s a quick cut of a “Man Of The Year” photo, which features Carl the janitor. . . #TCMParty #TheBreakfastClub
Spent a lot of the morning listening to the new remixed/remastered Queen 2 album. Made a great album greater!

That halftime show was fun! My first time experiencing Bad Bunny and I’m impressed. Loved the Cubanesque interlude! Plus Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin. And will enjoy it even more later tonight when the Oompa Loompa rage posts about it!
A live band, dancing, an open bar with some kind of boozy punch, an interrupted wedding, a fight, some Texas Rangers, and then ending the night with a posse . . .these Jorgensen’s really know how to throw a party! #TCMParty #TheSearchers

That zoom. . . . I could write thousands of words that wouldn’t come close to saying as much as that silent shot of Ethan. It always hits me in the emotions. #TCMParty #TheSearchers
