Poeng nummer 2 jeg likte av kreftdebatten på #dax18 var professorens angrep på #fuckcancer . Ingen vil vel angripe barn som perler, men det slagordet brukes av voksne og Kreftforeningen og jeg mener det er like merkelig og fordummende som 'kampen mot kreft'. Kreft er sykdom, ikke fiende... forts.

This has really struck me. I have for the reasons I told you been a lifelong cancer-phobic but have found your book deeply comforting and fascinating. I am sure others would find it so too.

I heard @jarlebreivik.bsky.social on the brilliant @unshawpodcast.bsky.social , which is well worth listening to. A brilliant communicator about an illness which is still so terrifying it is hard to talk rationally about. His book is a model of thoughtful communication.

This is beyond stupid. I hope people are not that easily fooled. I am more worried about charlatans with MDs and PhDs deliberately misleading the public with posts like this:
