Fandom has always filled the gap that canon left open, and if new canon drops, deciding not to throw out all the worldbuilding you’ve done in the intervening time does not mean you don’t love canon text either. Don’t be so black and white, and don’t make people feel shit for not changing their lore.

Many of us have a lot going on and some are really struggling. Our friends Candy and dear Sapphire are at risk of homelessness. If that happens Sapphire will would have to leave Candy's side and be rehomed. That would break both their hearts. She is actively looking for work but nothing yet.
