I love this time of year. The Lumière Film festival in Lyon . Today we’re going to see Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Ziyi Zhang will present it. Next week, we get to go to a masterclass with Robert Eggers, then watch 3 of his films. Next day, Cohen bros (their class sold out) #filmsky

My hot take. I don’t trust metal drummers with 4 piece kits. I want the double bass drums, 8+ toms, octobons and so many cymbals (especially splashes) that the only way I know the drummer is there is when they throw a stick at the crowd #metalsky

Over the years I’ve seen a *lot* of (metal) bands. Metallica and the “top 4”. From Emperor, Agalloch, Satyricon to more obscure bands like Celeste, Ulcerate and Znowhite. But until yesterday I had never seen Iron Maiden. The sound was shit and they were tiny, but they’re off the list. #metalsky

I got all my spectral followers working , but it’s not loud enough in the bar to show off (I assure you all it’s really cool!) I also got my chaotic modulators mostly working (there’s a bug with the pendulum). And now the ui work to expand to 8 modulators, #guitarsky #weirdguitarnoises
So yesterday, I post a video of one of the two pedals I’m working on and I made the mistake of saying I thought it was feature complete. Then I saw a stupid video of gs-dsp’s vsts and now I have a lot more ideas for the modulation system. I guess it needed to be refactored anyway 🙄

Quick demo of solar wind. It’s a stereo multi tap , reversible spectral delay with per tap fx. Everything can be modulated. Still need to get the dynamic fx working This is just a D chord being played Then I need to get it running on hardware 😬
