It’s difficult to make Christmas feel magical when you can barely cover the essentials. Right now, there are 6 million children living in cold homes. Their parents are trying desperately to make ends meet and pay for essentials like food, heating and electricity.

At the end of our #FuelPovertyConf, we'll celebrate four individuals or organisations attending. They'll demonstrate excellence in improving community resilience, impactful approaches to tackling fuel poverty, engagement of marginalised communities and improving health outcomes.

In April, £150 comes off energy bills and the two-child benefit cap lifts, but key energy efficiency schemes end. Adam says, 'For those in the greatest jeopardy it's not enough.'
