#Inktobertale2026 Day 3: Spirit Ink had seen more AUs than anyone could imagine, himself included. He had forgotten more AUs than most denizens of the multiverse could even dream of. Despite that, there were basic details that he managed to hold on to, like the main plots of the most popular AUs.

It's true. People have seemed really hostile lately. I know this world is getting crueler all the time, but that's why it's so important to be kind. It takes work. Compassion takes work. Forgiveness takes a LOT of work. Destruction is easy. What are you left with afterwards?

Undertale is game that is designed to teach us compassion. To show us that people make mistakes, and that everyone is doing their best within their own abilities, and that people can change and/or regret, and that forgiveness is hard, actually. Did it work for you?
