On May 1st 8:16 AM, 8 protestors were arrested in a Sit-In protesting the Hilton Hotels housing of DHS agents and superiors. The sit-in was a part of the May-Day strikes, in tandem with marches and rallies taking place all over the country, and locally, all over PDX.

We had over 80 people come to our How to End an Oligarchy teach-in last Tuesday. That's over 80 young people in Portland who are fed up with the billionaire-controlled government and are ready to do something about it.

It’s very cold and rainy/borderline slushy outside, but well over 50 people have turned out to Portland City Hall to protest the city issuing Zenith Energy a Land Use Compatibility Statement earlier this week.

This morning, the City of Portland officially processed a Land Use Compatibility Statement (LUCS) for Zenith Energy, a Texas-based fossil fuel company operating out of NW Portland. The LUCS paves the way for Zenith to obtain permits from Oregon DEQ and expand operations in Portland.
