he Long Island Library Resources Council (LILRC) is one of New York’s 9 Library Resources Systems. LILRC is a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt not for profit organization. It is chartered by the New York State Board of Regents. The Council was incorporated in 1966.
LILRC Executive Director Tim Spindler met with Senator Monica Martinez and fellow Suffolk county library advocates earlier this week to discuss New York State support for library funding and library related legislative initiatives. Thank you to the Copiague Memorial Library for hosting this meeting!
LILRC Staff met Wolfie Seawolf at last week's Stony Brook University Career Fair when he dropped off his resume for our consideration. However, we already have a mascot (shout out Lily), but otherwise would welcome Wolfie!
