This season of X-Men ‘97 isn’t hitting as hard as the first did for me. Not sure what it is, maybe just the fact there are so many characters? Or that the story is a bit all over the place. Though the animation doesn’t seem as slick as the first season either. Oh well.

Brand New Day is the best Spider-Man movie that Marvel has put out. So nice to have a movie that isn’t bogged down by Iron Man, or alternate realities, or whatever else is being cooked by Marvel. Just good characterization, and a balanced solid plot.

Finally watching Demon Slayer Infinity Castle and…I’m sorry but half this movie would’ve been considered filler if it were an actual season. Hey we’re mid-fight, let’s take a break and spend 20-30 minutes of exposé on this demon’s past. 🥴 Guess I should’ve cut this movie into 15-minute increments.

Drink and Draw tonight was great. Worked on paper with some color pencils though, so you’ll have to wait to see drawings tomorrow. Hopefully they turned out as good as they looked in the low light of the bar 😅

I love ‘The Provocateur’ by Adéla, and I’m slightly worried about how generic her two tracks off ‘Prima’ sound. I hope this isn’t going to be another case of an artist creating something really cool, and then immediately being shoehorned into generic sounding pop that could be anyone by their label
