Today was the day to dust the cheese off my brain and reacquaint myself with my thesis. Glad to have the company of @garvachy11.bsky.social @charlainesi.bsky.social @lynnej0nes.bsky.social at #StrathPGR writing group this morning. Carried on for a few hours this afternoon. Good to be back.

Christmas is coming at the Manse. Missing our wee waggy boy very much. Grateful to dear friends for tree ornaments to remember him.

5 hours at my desk with my EdD thesis today. Grateful for the support of my writing group pals for the first half, and for my husband bringing me a breakfast roll to sustain me. Doctorates Demand Calories!

Doing a doctorate can be slow and laborious, but recently I’ve enjoyed real progress. Delighted to have kept up momentum on this snowy Saturday. 1500 words written to finish a section on #mattering and lots of new articles downloaded for my next section on #ProfessionalLove.

Perfect weather conditions for a #StrathEdD Saturday. Online PGR writing group this morning, followed by an afternoon at my desk working on my thesis. I know it makes me a geek to be excited about this but I’m embracing my aca-geek! Keeeeep writing.✍️

Visited two very different but equally lovely schools this week. Lovely to witness caring, compassionate relationships and a genuine love for children. Especially loved the four-year old who said she thought I was 24! Taking that as a win.😁
