Friesian stallion. Intolerant of ignorance and hate. Source of useless information. Just trying to find my way.

It took 14 years, including surveying & cutting through forests & crossing a mountain range to construct Canada's transcontinental railroad. Now Smith is getting wet over the fact that Alberta will have passenger rail... 30 years from now. 4700 km vs 300 km & twice as long. Oh boy. I'm so excited.

My 3D printing got a small (or not-so-small) upgrade today. I've been using the Bambu Lab X1C for over two years, along with an A1 Mini. Today, my H2C arrived, with the 40W laser option. Not only is the build area larger, but it runs multiple induction hot ends, so much less printer poop now. Yay!

Thank goodness that Trump is the President of Peace(tm). How are those peacekeeping efforts going? Nice to see that the US is in a more precarious situation than before Mango Mussolini decided to tear up the previous policy. A+++ stellar work. www.theguardian.com/world/live/2...

Trump acts like antagonist politicians from the Fallout universe. Fallout frequently refers to the US government treating anyone who questions the status quo or anyone who cares for their fellow person as Communist. Yet here we are. It's no parody in the US. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026...

Pete Hoekstra, US Ambassador to Canada and recipient of most punchable face for two years in a row, continues to illustrate how you don't need to be smart to hold his position; you just have to like the taste of Trump's boots. And likely his foreskin too. ca.news.yahoo.com/canada-payin...

Canada paying to construct Gordie Howe bridge is 'big myth', according to Ambassador Pete Hoekstra

It has been a rollercoaster for me for the past few months. In November, I was laid off from my role as IT Infrastructure Analyst due to restructuring, leading to one of the darkest periods of my life, mentally. The IT Industry is not in fantastic shape, and I know some looking for work for years.

You can use every cybersecurity platform out there. It won't help it you lay off the people who built it & run it. I had sensors to catch ransomware early. Was laid off because of restructuring. Zero handoff. 2 months later: major ransomware incident, systems & email down for weeks. Good job.

Nvidia is busy jerking themselves off over their new DGX Spark, which allows you to run large LLMs on your desktop and are advertising it as "finally, AI for everyone." Yeah, if everyone has $8,000 CAD sitting around. What reality does Nvidia's Jensen and his band of idiots operate in?

"Smith days she feels 'obligated' to proceed with referendum vote." No shit. A majority of the UCP is separtists. She knows she'd lose the confidence of the traitors that make up her base, so she'll do whatever it takes to cling on to that support. Everything Smith does is about retaining power.

The weekend before last, I took my Restricted Firearms Safety Course and scored 100% on both the written and practical hands-on portion. My inner Albertan is yeehawing. The rest of me is mildly concerned that this came so naturally.

So Danielle Smith is "furious" the NDP went straight to the RCMP instead of giving the UCP a courtesy heads-up? Right, because when millions of Albertans’ private data is leaked, standard protocol is to tip off the guys whose own caucus staffers were already playing with it. Fuck the UCP.

Failed lawyer Jeffrey Rath moans that democracy is being threatened in Alberta. Meanwhile, the clear minority of Albertans wanting to separate are bolstered by UCP's separtist majority. Democracy is indeed threatened, but not for separatists. For everyday Albertans. www.ctvnews.ca/calgary/arti...

Quashing the separation petition is ‘incomprehensible,’ an ‘error in law’: Rath

The lawyer representing an Alberta separatist group says a decision made to quash a separation petition in court featured “numerous errors in law” and is “anti-democratic.”

Smith is struggling so hard to not drop to her knees & suck the separatists' cocks while trying to sound like she really doesn't want the province to separate. The entire UCP government is so out of touch with Albertans but that's what you get with these hillbillies. nationalpost.com/news/canada/...
