Roasted home grown tomatoes on sourdough toast for me!
Charlie Massey@charliecoffee.bsky.social · 2w agoI made an estimate of this year's ripe tomato cropping and it's getting up towards 50 kgs. 3 packets of seeds and just 2 varieties. All grown outdoors. We've eaten a huge amount, given more away and have a freezer crammed with sauce. Still not finished. What a plant it is if you care for it.
The weather is perfect beautiful warm Autumn days sunshine in abundance. Daily walks and excellent healthy meals from mostly grown at home veggies. So how come I’ve got a stinking cold?

Bookshops support authors; organize events. A thriving bookshop teaches the next generation that literacy matters. So don't just love your bookshop: actually buy books there.
I want to be rich enough to pay for lunches for the schools in my local community. I want to be rich enough to run a farm where low income people in my community can come and get free fruits and vegetables. And I want to be rich enough to not have to work my 9-5 so I could do those things above.
