Better late than never 🙈 We had a brilliant day out at the Glasgow Science Centre last week. Everyone had a lot of fun and were a credit to LVPS 🥰
This week we have been learning how to use protractors to identify, measure and draw different sizes of angles. We found it tricky but we didn’t give up. Well done everyone 🥰
We have been enjoying a block of rugby in PE recently and this week these two boys asked if they could lead the lesson. They attend rugby training outside of school and wanted to share their knowledge and experience with the rest of the class. Great job boys. So proud of you both 🥰 🏉 👏🏻
Finishing off our rainforest art work. We can’t wait to share our finished pieces with you 😃 🐍
We have been studying scots language this week. We wrote our own scots poem together as a class about a coo! We then wrote poems with a partner. Great job everyone 💙🏴
Last week we had a visit from Glasgow Science Centre. It was such a fun and interesting way to learn lots of new things such as how the body works. A fun morning had by all 😊
Last week in PE we were practising our rugby skills. Great effort from everyone as well as lots of support and encouragement for each other. Well done Primary 6 🏉 👏🏻
We’ve been revising bar charts this week 📊 We started off by surveying each other on our favourite food, then we created a bar chart to display the information. We then created a bank of questions to show our understanding. Great job everyone 😃 👏🏻
Another fascinating debate in P6ME this morning. Today’s topic for discussion…Should we have school uniform? 🤔
Today, on World Kindness Day, we thought about lots of different ways to be kind and how to make a positive impact on someone’s day 🥰
Practising different types of basketball passes in PE today 😃 🏀 Great job P6 👏🏻
Today we have been revising the different types of triangles and their properties. We then classified the triangles by looking at the length of their sides and their angles. Great job everyone 😃
Brilliant morning in P6ME with our first ever debating session. Our first debate was ‘Should we have homework?’ The children were honest, polite and respectful of each other when justifying their own opinions. Well done everyone 😊
