Starting today, I’m deleting Bluesky and leaving the mainstream fandom as a whole. I’m so sorry it had to end like this but these past couple of months, however long it’s been have been anything but comfortable for me or for my mental health.

Millie is so much more complex and interesting than people give her credit for. Reducing her to “Moxxie’s wife” ignores her unique feelings and desires. Her personality contrasts beautifully with Moxxie’s and the show wouldn’t be the same without her.

Compared to the 3 main decent dads we have in the shows (Stolas, Blitz, Lucifer), I’d argue that Lucifer is the worst dad of the three.

Stolas shouldn’t even try to reconcile with Octavia before he puts serious work into building a life for himself where he has other relationships and a stable sense of self. Otherwise they’ll just return to their unhealthy codependent relationship, rather than him being a stable parental figure.

I have a few hills I’m willing to die on. 1. Stolas and Verosika would’ve had a toxic one-sided friendship if they actually became friends in the show. 2. Had they met in HMF, Loona and Sallie would’ve been besties. 3. Barbie and Kendra didn’t break up, they’re just in a rough patch.

Character dynamics MAKE Helluva Boss and having it be a "job of the week" show would have made it so stale. It's a character driven show where lore takes a back seat. ALSO! Fizz was never the antagonist people made him out to be. People are either thinking of Robo Fizz or his stage persona.

So I figured I'd write down my own thoughts on what I think of Lackadaisy, since it's been over a couple of years since its pilot dropped, and it got picked up by Glitch recently.
We will NEVER get it right. We're not the creators. We all have different interpretations and sometimes it just depends on the circumstances within the scenario! If you can still recognise them, if you can still have fun with them and enjoy the story, that's what counts

You can say you know this character like the back of your hand all you want, but at the end of the day, the only person who knows their character is the original creator.

Fanfiction Writing Tip: Always say what you’re planning to write outloud while writing it. Sometimes mid-sentence, your brain will actually come up with an idea or an alternative way to express your thoughts.
This has been brought up before, but it strikes me that in some of the discussions about representation in the Hellaverse, people tend talk about what they don't like or what is missing, but hardly talk about the representation that actually IS there by comparison.
I do this all the time and yet for whatever reason, my mind is telligg my me to write in order when it comes to certain stories. I should hold onto this advice more often. Especially for stories that have more stakes.

If there is a scene or piece of dialogue you REALLY want to get to, write it first! You can always go back to write the setup! Writing is always easier where that inspiration is strongest
If you're having trouble with a character sounding ooc, sit down with some clips of that character and study the way they talk. Listen to these clips over and over again. Note their vocabulary and inflection. Their cadence and rhythm. When you read your dialogue back, can you hear it in their voice?
