The Trump Admin is protecting the fossil fuel industry instead of the air we breathe. By putting polluters first, children and people with chronic health conditions will suffer. We’re standing up for healthy communities and clean air. www.njoag.gov/ag-davenport...
October is #DomesticViolenceAwarenessMonth. To anyone in danger or at risk, you are not alone. Help and support are available. Call the New Jersey Domestic Violence Helpline at: 1-800-572-7233.
We are pleased the court rejected EMR’s attempt to dismiss our lawsuit demanding accountability for the ongoing fires at its Camden facility, and we are eager to see this case move forward so that residents can obtain the relief they deserve.
The fires aren’t stopping, and neither are we. Together with @dep.nj.gov, we updated our EMR lawsuit to include the latest fires plaguing the Camden community. We look forward to holding this company accountable. www.njoag.gov/ag-davenport...
If you enjoyed the sounds at Sea.Hear.Now. in Asbury Park, you may have seen our Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control team. Staff met with attendees & volunteers, ensured beverages were not being sold to underage festival goers, and spread the message on responsible drinking.
AGs agree: the Supreme Court needs the resources required to protect the justices, their families, and the institution itself. A strong judiciary depends on justices being able to carry out their constitutional responsibilities without fear. NJ is proud to lead this effort.
ARRIVE Together makes New Jersey safer and helps people in need of behavioral health services access find care. The initiative is available to more than 79% of New Jerseyans, and now 10 counties have coverage in all municipalities. www.njoag.gov/attorney-gen...
No better day than #NationalCoffeeDay to remind New Jersey that NJ's finest will be hosting Coffee with a Cop events next week. Get to know the folks behind the badge, ask questions, and get involved with your community. Check your local department's social pages for more info.
Insurance fraud carries significant penalties and drives up costs for motorists. In this case, the owner of a high-end car rental company that operated in North Bergen was sentenced to four years in prison for staging a car crash. www.njoag.gov/luxury-car-r...
Instead of shielding predatory corporations, the Trump Admin. should be protecting American consumers – especially during an affordability crisis. We stopped them from defunding the CFPB because we prioritize New Jerseyans’ financial wellbeing over corporate profits. www.njoag.gov/ag-davenport...
With kids back in school, it’s just as important to ensure they’re safe when they come home. If you own a firearm, store it locked, unloaded, and out of children’s reach. Don’t be afraid to ask about firearm safety when your child visits another home. Safe storage saves lives.
On National Law Enforcement Suicide Awareness Day, we remember those we’ve lost and reaffirm our support for the brave officers that keep New Jersey safe. You are not alone—we’re here for you. Support is available. Call: 1-866-COP-2-COP
The promise of AI for medicine and humanitarian uses must be balanced against its potentially destructive power. We call for federal regulations to help achieve that balance. www.njoag.gov/attorney-gen...
We're alerting the public that starting today, three types of synthetic kratom will be listed as Schedule I controlled dangerous substances, making them illegal to possess or sell in New Jersey. Learn more: www.njoag.gov/ag-davenport...
New Jerseyans expect companies entrusted with their sensitive health & personal information to protect it as the law requires. We agree. That’s why we’re holding LabCorp accountable for a data breach that compromised the information of 417k NJ patients. www.njoag.gov/new-jersey-j...
I was glad to meet with the Cumberland County Positive Youth Development Coalition in South Jersey. Bringing together law enforcement, schools, hospitals, nonprofits and community organizations, this coalition is working to help young people thrive and build safer communities.
We have obtained settlements from six pharmaceutical companies to return millions to NJ consumers who had overpaid for generic drugs. Check your eligibility at www.aggenericdrugs.com or by calling 1-866-290-0182. www.njoag.gov/attorney-gen...
We all know that electricity prices are too high. But the Trump Admin is trying to take away new sources of clean energy in New Jersey and other states by paying developers to abandon their projects. We're taking action because our residents deserve solutions, not roadblocks.
This summer, targeted human trafficking enforcement operations in NJ led to 71 arrests and connected more than 90 victim survivors with critical resources. Our work is far from over. We must keep holding offenders accountable and supporting survivors.
Social services are a lifeline for many in need—domestic violence shelters, community health centers, and food banks. Today, a court ruled that the President cannot selectively and unlawfully restrict access to these programs. A major win for all New Jerseyans. www.njoag.gov/wp-content/u...

New Jerseyans, especially older New Jerseyans, should be able to trust the professionals they rely on to manage their finances. The sentence imposed here reflects our commitment to hold people accountable when they abuse positions of trust for personal gain.
We remember every life taken by drug overdoses on #OpioidAwarenessDay, and we extend our support to those still battling with addiction and to everyone in recovery. We’re committed to fighting this epidemic so that everyone in New Jersey can live healthy, meaningful lives.
As Yom Kippur approaches, we recognize this highest of holy days on the Jewish calendar—a solemn day of reflection, repentance, and renewal. Wishing peace, strength and g’mar chatima tova to all who observe Yom Kippur.
Safe drinking water is a fundamental need, and it is critical that the people charged with keeping our water supplies safe and clean do their jobs with diligence and professionalism. This defendant chose to break the law, without regard for New Jersey’s residents.
NEW: A big win for NJ families and seniors who rely on SNAP benefits. We took on Dept. of Agriculture because it is inhumane and unlawful to harm our most vulnerable for the sake of pushing political agendas. https://www.njoag.gov/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/107-Opinion-and-Order-on-MSJ.pdf
The court has rejected the Trump Education Dept's attempt to cut grants that helps states recruit and train great teachers - our latest victory against the Administration's arbitrary attempts to cut NJ's funding. We are proud to be part of this fight for our children's education.
This week, I joined the Youth Justice Commission’s Annual Recovery Walk to stand in solidarity with New Jersey’s recovery community. Recovery is a journey—and no one walks it alone. We’ll keep supporting pathways to healing, hope, and opportunity.
We blocked the Trump Admin. from taking the private data of over 17 million drivers. Whether you're a commercial driver or not, your sensitive info does not belong in federal database with no safeguards. We’ll always fight to protect your privacy in New Jersey.
Board orders are not suggestions. When a professional licensing board intervenes to protect the public, licensees are expected to comply fully. Those who willfully defy the authority of their licensing boards pose an unacceptable risk to public safety and will not be tolerated.
