Instead of making resolutions for the new year, I set themes. I find it's more helpful to not pressure myself into reaching specific goal posts. Things to generally lean towards during the year. Last year's theme was Safety, and from today until the end of 2027, my new theme is Stability.

After I inadvertently cracked her egg years earlier by introducing her to cosplay, my friend came put to me. Wanting to be a supportive friend, I went to research what this whole "transgender" thing meant. By the end of the night, I thought I might be genderfluid, but knew for sure I was cisn't.

Some of my favourite fan-works are those where it's not initially obvious that they're fan-works. You'll be reading a grindingly realistic depiction of the protagonist's minimum wage service industry job and struggles with gender dysphoria and clinical depression, then 35 pages in Pikachu shows up.
