New trustee Eleanor van Heyningen's favourite historic space in London is West Norwood Cemetery. "One of the 'Magnificent Seven' Victorian cemeteries, I love that it not only tells the stories of so many lives, it's also a haven for biodiversity, nature & wildlife." This Turkish Victorian Bathhouse in Bishopsgate opened in 1895 and was modelled on the 19th century shrine at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. Open from 7am-9pm, it catered for men & closed in 1954. Today it is an events space retaining many original interior features. #londonheritage
