I'm tired of pretending or not being "dramatic" or downplaying how much AI feels like I'm being mentally violated. I can only use the term 'violated' to describe how I feel. All of this is against my will at my own expense. It's violation. I feel fucking violated and I want to throw up every day

It's not even just art. I want human engineers creating and reviewing design; for anything. AI can at best augment a review/functional testing boards capabilities. But it can never and should never replace the insight and responsibility that human engineers bring to the table.

Gladly. I love the metaphor of robots in fiction but I don't use generative "AI" in any part of my work flow. I will go out of my way to uninstall "AI" crap forced into the technology I use. My work is 100% designed through the efforts of my little creature paws and brain.

Please be vocal about not using AI. We have to normalize it. No "I'm not going to say that because it should be assumed. I'm not going to give them this". We don't have time for that shit ideological shit right now. NOW is the time to capitalize on waning favorability. Ppl want human made

same reason why "it's a tool for the disabled" argument is also openly a naked lie. you're killing disabled people by taking the means to live away from them. and I need people to understand it's by design, all the outcomes of gAI are not incidental or accidental, it's deeply maliciously intended.

the reason gAI mantra of "democratizing art" gets under my skin so bad is because it's effectively turning art into an activity only the rich has the means to partake in, when art is the one thing on this earth that's self-evidently accessible to the individual no matter your class or ability

I was literally JUST doing a talk about this with @mcmanlypants.bsky.social an hour ago! The thing is that the Rockies are so much bigger than you that they don’t notice if you exist. But the Appalachians are so much older than you that if they notice you, bad shit’s about to go down.
